Evolution's Driveclub was one of the first PlayStation 4 games to be announced over a year ago. It was later scheduled to release at the system's launch in November with a special PS4 Instant Game Collection edition. In October it was announced that the game would be delayed into 2014 and now it seems that that might not even happen. In a recent interview with IGN, Sony Worldwide Studios' Scott Rohde explains that the company, which owns Evolution, doesn't want to release the game before it's ready. “So, I think that at PlayStation, perhaps more than at other places, we’re willing to kinda eat that [cost],” Rohde says, “and go back to the drawing board and make sure the game is great before we ship it. And that’s what’s going on right now with that game.” When asked if the game would release in 2014, Rohde wouldn't say and a PR representative promised more details soon.
