Paliodor 1 817 Opublikowano 26 marca 2014 Opublikowano 26 marca 2014 (edytowane) Dwie bohaterki do wyboru w nadchodzącej Atelier Shari:Alchemists of the Dusk Sea We recently found out that Gust’s Project A16, the next game in the Atelier series, is called Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea for PlayStation 3. Like Atelier Escha & Logy, Atelier Shari will also have two protagonists and this week’s Dengeki magazine shares more about the characters. Gust director Yoshito Okamura who previously worked on Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland will be in charge of directing Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. As far as timeline goes, it still remains unknown as to how much time has passed between Atelier Shari and Atelier Escha & Logy, but the game will have the same dual-protagonist system, where both characters will have their own stories. Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea introduces a new “Life Task” system, which is how you’ll be advancing through the game. Once you see a Life Task objective, it’ll have three elements you must clear: explore, compound, and fight. After accomplishing the objectives, you’ll be advancing through the story of the game. Shari, short for Sharistella, is a 16-year-old alchemist, who comes from a family that continues protecting an ancient alchemical relic. She is replacing the head of her family, who has fallen ill, to go on a journey to find a way to save her village from a life or death crisis, on his behalf. To do so, Shari will be headed to an oasis town called Stellad. Her story will revolve around the mystery of the world, with the “Dusk” theme as the core of the story. It’ll be more on a serious and courageous note, where you’ll be seeing the young girl grow more mature. Charlotte Eluminus is a poor 18 year-old alchemist, who works some sort of subcontract position. She currently lives in Stellad, and has been managing “Atelier” since her father passed away; however, she doesn’t really have any experience and is kind of a “joke of an alchemist”. While she may not sound too serious, she’s an ambitious girl with big dreams of wanting to do something huge after being successful, one day. Her story will be about her adventurous and comedic days. The theme of her story is said to have more of an Atelier vibe to it, where you’ll be experiencing the growth of a foolhardy girl. When you’re out in the field, you’ll have full 360-degree control of the camera. The alchemy synthesis will also be easier to enjoy and understand, one of Gust’s goals for Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. The combat system will have a Cost Turn bar similar to that from Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, and with a similar turn order bar to the right like in Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk. A premium box version of the game will be available for 9,800 yen, which will include four-discs of soundtrack and a special drama CD. Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea will be released on June 26, 2014 for PlayStation 3. Suikoden II is on deck to be re-released as a PsOne Classic. A rating for Suikoden II popped up on the ESRB as a PlayStation 3 game with Sony Computer Entertainment America listed as the publisher. Originally released in 1998, Suikoden II follows a hero caught in the middle of a war. The story isn’t just about the protagonist, it’s about all of the Stars of Destiny you meet in the game. One of the neat features is you could load save data from Suikoden into Suikoden II. The first Suikoden is currently on PlayStation Network in case you want to start leveling characters up for the sequel. Paliodor 1 817 Opublikowano 25 kwietnia 2014 Opublikowano 25 kwietnia 2014 (edytowane) Kolejne jrpg zmierza na PSN. Tym razem jest to End of Serenity od Natsume: Natsume's End of Serenity is a PSN-exclusive classic JRPGSerenity NOW! 13 hours ago - 2:15 PM on 04.24.2014 1 43 Reddit0Share4Tweet164Share24 The retro JRPG aesthetic is infinitely appealing to me, and Natsume and Kemco hope you'll feel the same way with the upcoming End of Serenity. It's a love letter to the 16-bit era with traditional undertones set for a North American release this summer. Summer is when I embark on epic journeys to clear out my back-avalanche, too, so this doesn't bode well for me. End of Serenity, from what I can gather from these blurry and nondescript screenshots, follows the typical JRPG archetype down to the letter, with a tale that follows "mysterious objects" known as materia Atomigems that people in the game world have utilized for many years. But creepy stuff happens in nowhere the world when a gang known as the Underworld (pretty weird gang name, for real) begins snapping up all of the Atomigems for a nefarious plot. It's up to Courage you to save your new home the world! Actually, End of Serenity, as awesome omniscient Japanator EIC and all-around cool guy Tim Sheehy points out, looks to be a sequel of some sort or at least a related game to End of Aspiration, a mobile RPG that shares the same storyline with that of Serenity. Some of the characters appear to be carrying over as well, a detail Natsume is curiously leaving out. With an exclusive release via PlayStation Network for End of Serenity, perhaps this is a re-release or update of the mobile game or simply the next in the saga -- whatever the saga is. End of Serenity will be on display at this year's E3 and will be released this summer exclusively via PlayStation Network for the PSP. Wait, PSP? Yeah, I don't know either. The hit 2010 game Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist Of Arland returns better than ever with updated 3D models, restructured gameplay system and more. Additionally, those who pre-order the PlayStation 3 version at GameStop will receive an exclusive Costume set with the “Orange Swimsuit” and “Lady’s Etiquette Costume”. The popular RPG franchise from acclaimed developer, Gust, carries on the tradition of the beloved Atelier series, using alchemy as the main focal point. Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland focuses on the exploits of Rorolina Frixell, one the most identified characters of the Arland trilogy, a young girl who is assigned to complete alchemy tasks over three years in order to keep her alchemy workshop and not be banished from the kingdom of Arland. Players can craft new items and also battle enemies using the power of alchemy. As all games in the Atelier series, this title is set against a stunning anime-like background with beautiful 3D graphics and is characterized by an elaborate crafting and synthesis system. At the behest of a wide number of fans, Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland features a completely revamped 3D character model for Rorona, but the improvements don’t stop there as the game itself has been significantly enhanced: item synthesis & crafting system has been redesigned for better playability, while there will be additional chapters and playable characters previously unavailable throughout the series. Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland new additions include • Enhanced 3D character models • New field map modelling creates more rich and vibrant scenery • New chapters featuring Totori and Meruru who return from the previous Arland trilogies “Atelier Meruru Plus” and “Atelier Totori Plus”, brimming with new content and illustrations • Additional Content, including playable characters, maps, bosses, costumes and more • Improved Synthesis system and new Assignment system • Expanded Item Crafting • New battle system with advanced battle features and skill execution between characters • New Time Capsule system allows players to bury items in Atelier Rorona and retrieve them in Atelier Meruru Plus, and Atelier Totori Plus • Over 30 different Endings: Interactions with character and decisions made to complete missions with affect the ending offering extremely high replay value • Data saving and sharing between PlayStation®3 and PS®Vita versions Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland is developed by Gust and published in North America by Tecmo Koei America. The PlayStation 3 version will be available for $49.99 at parti(pipi)ating retailers and through the PlayStation Store, and the PS Vita version will be available for $39.99 exclusively through the PlayStation Store. Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland will launch June 24, 2014. Paliodor 1 817 Opublikowano 14 maja 2014 Opublikowano 14 maja 2014 (edytowane) Nowa gra z serii Shining w produkcji na PS3: Sega has two games from the Shining series in development. Blade Arcus from Shining, an upcoming 2D fighter with heroes and heroines from Sega’s long running Shining series is testing an arcades. Additionally, they just announced the latest of the main series, with Shining Resonance for PlayStation 3 in this week’s Famitsu magazine. (Thanks, Hokanko-Alt and Game-Jouhou). According to the magazine report, the characters of will be drawn by Shining series artist Tony Taka, and will be developed by Wild ARMs makers Media.Vision. Shining Resonance will feature a dragon as the protagonist, and will have the theme of “dragons and musical instruments”. As far as the battle system goes, the details are pretty light but it’s reported that the field and battle sequences will also be done in a seamless fashion, and will have parties of up to four players. It will also emphasize on the use of instruments for various effects. Depending on who you have as the “center character,” there will be different effects, too. Additionally, the report mentions that the character models have a similar appearance to those seen in the Atelier series. We also got some details on the characters, but the report seems to have partially blanked out some of the names and other details. Here’s what we got so far: Shining Dragon Irvan: the protagonist of Shining Resonance. He/she isn’t a mix or a humanoid dragon, but an actual dragon. The human allies will be able to have him fight with a weapon called the Dragon *** Instrument, which uses some sort of melody. Kilika Towa Alma (shown in the top image): a Songstress who uses a Dragon Wing Bow as a weapon of choice, to go with some holy magic. Kilika is an elf who inherited song magic that controls nature’s spiritual powers. She’s not that great when it comes to communicating with other people, but she has a kind heart. *** Blanche: a black-haired princess who also happens to be a Magic Knight. She seems to come on strong and can be quite aggressive, even towards the protagonist. **** Bretthart: a young red-haired man who is something like an older brother-figure to the protagonist. *** Zalbard: a knight from the empire, who seems to be going after dragons (the protagonist). Not much have been revealed as far as the story goes, but it is said to start out with the protagonist being captured, and then saved by two heroines. There will also be enemy dragons, and so far, they’ve shown three of them in the magazine. Shining Resonance is currently in development for PlayStation 3. The upcoming PlayStation 3 title will be the first game where the protagonist will be an actual dragon. Famitsu gives us a first look at the game, and some details behind the game’s story. At the ancient continent, there exists a land of the god, called “Alfheim.” Long ago, dragons prospered in this world, but much time has gone by since then. The souls of the dragons have been crystallized and scattered across the world. However, the existence of a dragon was confirmed. Its name, Shining Dragon Irvan” In order to acquire the lost dragon’s power, the imperial army, church forces, and those who stand against the scaled beasts, the Dragon Slayers, all began their movement. A single maiden saved the dragon from the clutches of those who desired its power. Long before, there were those known as “Dragon Performers,” a group of soldiers who gathered around the dragons. This dragon retains memories of being treated for a would by a “maiden” when it was younger. This would be a fateful reunion… of the beautiful story about a dragon and a maiden. Shining Dragon Irvan: Irvan is one of the remaining dragons in the world, an existence that should no longer be part of the world. Various people and groups are after Irvan to acquire its powers. Sonia Blanche: Sonia is the princess of the Astoria, a kingdom that is surrounded by seas. She leads people to the fight for retrieving their country. She has a strong personality and can be quite aggressive, even towards the protagonist. The battle system is in real-time action, where you’ll be controlling one character as you fight. When there’s a dragon in your party, the allies can play instruments to have it fight alongside the group. Shining Resonance is slated for release this Winter for PlayStation 3. Paliodor 1 817 Opublikowano 19 maja 2014 Opublikowano 19 maja 2014 (edytowane) 14minut gameplay'u z Atelier Shallie: I sporo info na temat nowych postaci i syntezy itemków: As the Japanese launch for Gust’s upcoming PlayStation 3 RPG Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea inches ever closer, the studio has released more gameplay and character details, as well as announced a handful of additional musical artists working on the game’s soundtrack. Find the full roundup of information below. Everything You Need to Know on Synthesizing Your Own Items! The Simplicity of Synthesis While it might look intimidating at first glance, combining items together to make new ones through the synthesis system in Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is designed to be simple to do from top to bottom! Indeed, everything from the controls to the actual systems entailed is designed to be approachable. While you’ll accumulate more and more new skills to utilize in the process as you progress in the game that will let you fine-tune your work, the underlying simplicity will always be there to keep things stress-free as you go about your work! The resulting items you churn out can be naturally be used in fights, but they can also be utilized in further synthesizing. What’s more, some of the items that you also just purchase and pick up as you go about your adventure may not always seemingly have any effects attached to them, so it’ll be up to you to use those synthesizing skills to bring out those latent properties and use them to their fullest potential! The Synthesizing Process in a Nutshell Let’s quickly go over the basic steps to synthesize items together to make new ones of your own. As we mentioned before, the items that will serve as your ingredients can be found all over the place, whether it’s just in a store, out on a field waiting to be picked up, or some other way entirely. Some items that you’ll find have particularly rare effects, in which cases it’s best to get to synthesizing as soon as you can. Get Yourself Some Items and Re(nene)es! We’ve already talked about how you need to already have some items to synthesize new ones, but you’ll also need to have re(nene)es on hand in order to do anything with them! Like items, these can be found all over the place in a variety of places, so keep your eyes peeled for them everywhere! Figure Out What You’re Going to Make! The process begins for real once you access your alchemy pot back at your atelier. Doing so will bring up a list of items that you can make and from there, you just pick which one you’d like to work on. Pick Out Your Ingredients! Once you know what you’re interested in making, you pick out what items you have on hand that will go towards synthesizing it. Come Up with an Order to Put in Your Ingredients and Use Your Skills! As you progress in the game, not only will you pick up new skills that you can put towards your alchemy work, but you’ll also be able to decide in which order your items go inside your pot. You’ll just have to experiment with skills and ingredient orders to see how things turn out! Select the New Item’s Properties and You’re Done! Your synthesized items have latent properties that your alchemy can draw out, which in turn influences the sort of effects that the final product will have. Depending on what properties you pick, not only can your synthesized item get new effects, but even the standard ones it comes with can be strengthened up, potentially leading to very potent creations if you make sure to tune things just right. Rack Up a Chain as Synthesize Items! As you level up your alchemy skills by doing lots of synthesizing, you’ll eventually find that you can build up Chains during the process. Essentially, the Chain counter is built up by stringing skills together and the higher you get it in tandem with the skills you use, the more effective your new item will be! How do you build up a Chain, you ask? It’s simple! If you keep using synthesizing skills of the same element, the Chain counter will go up, with the process starting when you use a skill that’s the same element as your ingredients. The elements themselves fall into four categories, constituting, fire, water, wind, and earth. Additionally, some skills that impart effects on an item can also affect its overall potency depending on when during the chain they’re introduced, making it possible to form especially strong items with careful planning! Forge Top-Notch Equipment with Some Smithing! Both of the main girls in Atelier Shallie might know their way around using alchemy to make items and decorations, but weapons and armor are beyond their normal wheelhouse. That doesn’t mean you’re up a creek when you want to make those things as well, though! If you pay a visit to Miruca, your neighborhood alchemist in training, she’ll lend you a hand, enabling you to forge what you need in a way that’s mostly similar to how you do your standard item synthesis. Here’s the quick-and-dirty overview of the steps you need to take to make this happen: As always, to get anything done, you’ll have to get your hands on the re(nene)es and items necessary to make whatever weapons and armor you have in mind. After working those things out, you once again work out what skills you’d like to use, as well as what order in which you’d like to insert the items you’ll be using for your ingredients. Like with standard item synthesis, the Chain system is still present and item elements are of the utmost important here, too. Then you just pick out your properties and you’re done! Like with the items you’ll synthesis, the properties of your weapon and armor can vary depending on what elements and properties with which you infuse them. If you dig in deep, you’ll find a wide array of equipment you can craft with this system! It’s worth noting that Shallistera, Shallote, and Miruca each have slightly different skills that they can use for item synthesizing and crafting. As Shallistera and Shallote raise their crafting levels, Miruca will also unlock new skills that you can use when you visit her. Break Down Items! Miruca isn’t only good for helping you make new equipment, though. She can also help you break down items. If you bring her certain items, she can take them and extract other items from them. As some items can only be obtained in this manner, it’s well worth your time to take her up on these services when the chance presents itself. New Characters Wilbell voll Erslied (voiced by Asami Seto)Age: 24Occupation: Traveling MagicianBlood Type: BHeight: 153 cm. (5′) “No matter what you take me to be, you can’t deny that I’m an upstanding adult!” Wilbell is a magician who wanders about in search of spirits in order to practice forming pacts with them, in turn using the power of ones with which she’s successfully negotiated to pull off powerful magic. After helping out Shallote one day, she’s mistaken for a alchemist and in turn becomes her beloved master. As someone who still looks rather young for her age, she’s developed a bit of a complex about her childlike appearance and is in turn searching for something that can prove her adulthood to other people. While a shrewd person, she nevertheless has a lazy streak to her. Because of her complex, she tends to overdo it in her attempts to convey her maturity and routinely invites trouble to herself as a result. Homura (voiced by Haruka Terui)Age: UnknownOccupation: Veteran Treasure HunterBlood Type: UnknownHeight: 100 cm. (3’3″) “When you’re feeling down, sometimes all you need is something sweet to get you smiling again.” Homura is a nice, but nihilistic homunculus working as a treasure hunter who has a thing for sweets. As someone learning long lost sword arts, he’s highly competent at combat and as such is routinely called upon to help out people and fellow homunculi. Unlike most other members of his species, he can quickly turn his head and is articulate, having a knack for shooting off facetious quips. As a result, he’s respected by other homunculi, but humans mostly view him as a bemusing curiosity. Get to Know the Lively Cast Members through Unique Character Events! As you play the game, you’ll find opportunities to view character-specific story events that play out in isolation from the main storyline. These “Character Events,” as they’re called, let you gain insight into some unexpected facets of their personalities, as well as learn things about them that they normally keep concealed from others. Here are a handful of examples below: Cortes harbors doubts about his homeland. During his Character Events, you’ll join him as he works to save the Dusk Sea from dangers that lurk within it.
